CogZap is an experimental search engine. Traditional search engines, which index content on the web, and search across their entire index. CogZap takes a different approach, mainly inspired by Google's Knowledge Graph, Wolfram|Alpha, Reasonator, SymPy Gamma, and Bing's Entity Search. Instead of finding text matching the search query in relevant websites, CogZap analyzes queries, and attempts to determine their meaning (mainly using hundreds of regular expressions). Based on the inferred meaning of the query, it is able to compute a result. Results come from many sources, including:
